Dr. Sharalyn Payne leads SMP International’s Leadership Advisory and Management Consulting practice. Based in Dallas, Texas, she is a sought after trusted advisor who works closely with CEOs, CHROs, CFOs, and VPs on critical leadership decisions. Drawing on her extensive expertise supporting some of the world’s strongest and most reputable companies, she guides clients through sensitive organizational challenges. Prior to SMP International, Dr. Sharalyn worked in healthcare technology, where she was a member of the HR Leadership Team responsible for employee experience, employee engagement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Before that Dr. Sharalyn successfully led talent management and organizational effectiveness initiatives for a global oil and gas company.

Dr. Sharalyn earned a doctorate degree in Leadership from Freed-Hardeman University as well as a higher education degree in Management. In addition, she holds a masters in Curriculum and Instruction. Outside of work, she is passionate about supporting meaningful causes, laughing with family and friends, and spreading hope.
